What does the KS135 Scan do?

The KS135 Scan is a 3 in 1 System! The German engineered CCTV camera features 2 integrated laser diodes on either side of the pan & tilt camera head, so that it can perform:

  • Laser Profiling
  • Crack Measurment
  • Mainline Pipe Inspection

The KS135 Scan is the only rotating laser system on the market!

Features, made for you, the user

  • Instant & final reports on the spot!
  • No data manipulation possible!
  • No third part involvement!
  • Direct and highly accurate measurements!front_view_scan_cam
  • Instant data & system verification right on site!
  • No lengthy, manual field calibration!
  • No manhole entry required!
  • Compact, sturdy and reliable design - it is all built in, no add-ons!
  • Very easy and quick profiler setup - just put it in the pipe and measure!
  • Low maintenance requirements, due to its compact and fully system-integrated design!

How it works:

On the way into the pipe, the system is used to perform conventional TV-inspection, as well as measuring all joint widths. In addition, individual laser measurements can be taken at any time for determining the actual pipe diameter and deflection. These diameter and deflection laser measurements become then part of the inspection report.

On the way out of the pipe, the system performs a laser scan of the entire pipe length. The camera head swivels perpendicular to the pipe wall and rotates at a defined speed. Via triangulation the Scan software continuously calculates the exact pipe diameter and all deflections. Once the run is completed, the software instantly generates graphs in 2- and 3-D, showing any deflection and the average pipe diameter.
